About the Tour
The Northwest Green Home Tour is an annual free educational event, open to the public, coproduced by the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild and Built Green that
showcases local, sustainable and green new homes, remodels, and energy
retrofits in the greater Seattle area. The 2014 tour includes 35 sites
and 12 Sustainability Stops, sponsored by members of the Northwest
EcoBuilding Guild and Built Green.

The official tour program is printed on the back side of the Seattle Natural Awakening‘s April Issue. Be sure to pick one up at one of these locations or read it online. You can also plan your day by exploring the sites in more detail on our All Sites page.

The tour is self guided, and visitors can begin at any site. View the map of all sites at nwgreenhometour.org/map
Ticketless event
The tour is completely free, and no tickets are required. Visitors are required to sign a liability waiver at their
first stop on the tour.
Getting around
Many tour goers enjoy biking or walking between the sites, and carpooling is strongly encouraged.

North Seattle walking tour
In partnership with Feet First, a walking tour will begin at 11am at Stop 7,
Hale’s Ales, 4301 Leary Way NW. The 5-mile, moderately paced walk will
take visitors through the Fremont, Phinney, and Greenwood neighborhoods,
connecting six NW Green Home Tour sites. More info.

The Northwest EcoBuilding Guild is
a 501(c)(3) community of builders, designers, suppliers, homeowners,
and partners concerned with ecological building in the Pacific
Northwest. The Guild empowers people through education to transform the built environment for long term sustainability.

Guild was founded in 1993 by a small group of professionals already
incorporating green building ideas into their practices. They formed the
Guild in order to network, learn and exchange ideas related to their
areas of expertise. The Guild has now grown to seven chapters serving
the diverse bioregions of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British
Columbia.
